Introducing Dr. Mark J. Maher

I was born and raised in St. Louis, as a matter of fact my child hood home is across Watson Road from our office and six homes down on Heather Drive. Hard to imagine 40 some odd years ago I was playing baseball and flying model airplanes on the lot where my practice is now located.

Now to answer the famous St. Louis question “where did you go to school?” All of my grade school years were spent at Our Lady of Providence and I am a graduate of Vianney High School. Following high school I moved to Kansas City Missouri and attended Cleveland College of Chiropractic.

My wife Pam and I have two children. Our son Ryan is a graduate of Webster University and is employed by Major Brands Inc. here in St. Louis and our daughter Jodi is a graduate of Missouri State University in Springfield Missouri and works for Meetings Resources Inc. Our family has spent most of our summer weekends at the Lake of the Ozarks enjoying boating and all of our “Lake Friends”. I also have been an avid racquetball player and coached for the Vianney Griffins high school team from 1997 thru 2007.

Dr. Mark Asks some important questions of interest to St Louis residents - Chiropractor St Louis Dr. Mark Asks...

How long will you need chiropractic care?
You'll need chiropractic care as long as you live in St Louis and encounter physical, chemical or emotional stress that you cannot adapt to or accommodate. Ready to get started? Call our office today.
Why are chiropractors wary of the germ theory?
Louis Pasteur originated the idea that germs caused disease. Yet, on his deathbed he recanted, declaring, "It's not the seed, but the soil." Meaning, it's not the germ that causes disease, but the condition of the body that allows the germ to thrive. Chiropractic care in our St Louis office is designed to bolster your resistance so germs don't see you as a good host.
